Chick fil-A confuses me and delights me all at the same time. The food here is fresh, amazing and full of flavor and their employees go above and beyond. First you order, then they are supposed to hand you a number (which I wasn't aware of so I just awkwardly stood by the counter until my food was ready... oops) and they are supposed to serve you your food at your table. Then while you are eating employees will come in and ask how your meal is going, and then take your trash and tray when you are finished. A fast food chain with a sit down restaurant feel! You must try their lemonade shakes and their signature sauce, SO GOOD. PS, I love that they have a sign saying that they are willing to give "behind the scenes" kitchen tours. That's how you know they are doing it right!

We just had our best experience at this location yesterday! I came in with my 14 mo old. I placed our order and was given a plastic "container" to put at the edge of the table because they were going to deliver our meal. I'm so appreciative of this since I didn't have to juggle a child and the tray. Then I went to get a high chair and a nice man offered to help me ask I started to carry it with my daughter in the other arm. Again, so appreciated! To end, a lady nearby was offering to help throw away my tray when a Chick-Fil-A employee came over and said he'd take it and also handed my daughter a stuffed cow toy. It made her day! Thank you Chick-Fil-A and its patrons for the wonderful visit! Oh and the food is always good here too!

Did they make their sauce containers smaller? The drive through at this location is begging for car accidents; 2 lanes merge into one so pay attention. Were out of chicken strips (I know, right?) when we drove through so they had us drive around again and wait for them to bring fresh ones out. Good thing because we ran inside and got more sauce. The wait earned us a coupon for a free cookie.

It's a step above McDonald's or Burger King or even subway. The service: never have I heard people so well trained in how they conduct themselves. You can tell it's a Christian establishment and their employees display very servant-like Christ-like values. You'll hear employees say "my pleasure" almost anytime you say thank you. Try it (I'm serious). Staff walks around asking to "refresh your beverage" - that doesn't happen at other fast food and often other restaurants. It's so nice that employees are trained to be kind and pleasant, as it really adds to the atmosphere in subtle ways. Inside: chic fil a is usually very clean and family friendly. Compared to other chains, they do an excellent job of making it seem like it's not fast food. Lastly, how funny is the chicken mascot you see everywhere? It cracks me up for some reason and you should like it too. Perhaps it's going to this place as a kid and loving their food. I also like their quote on the wall "food is essential to life; therefore, make it good." If that's their goal, mission accomplished. 5/5 stars. Great job!

This restaurant is quite pleasing, a highly rated fast food joint by any imagination. For me the winning factors include not being in a mall food court. The people are exceptionally friendly. It appears they have a certain brand standard, and work to keep that standard up. Tasks like re-filling the drink at the table is pleasing to me. The last trip, which inspired this post, I was given a free milk shake that they made in error- which made my day. Little things matter- and this place covered them splendidly.

I love Chick Fil A and have high expectations every time I go and until I visited this location in W. Des Moines I had amazing experiences. This time I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich value meal. The sandwich didn't taste right and the fries were very soggy. The only saving grace is the service being out of this world which is what Chick Fil A is known for. Overall not a great showing for this location.

I never really understood all the hype of Chick-Fil-A. Sure the staff is friendly, but the food is pretty much the same as any other fast food joint. I am not sold on paying as much as Chick-Fil-A charges for average fast food. I guess it is a step up from the golden arches, but I still do not get all the craziness about Chick-Fil-A.

Got a gift card and went to Chick-fil-a for the first time. Went drive-through and got Asian salad with milk shake. Weird combination, but it was so good! Salad was delicious! Shake was tasty! And what kind service even through the drive-through!

This Chick-fil-a location in particular, stands head-and-shoulders above all others. When you walk in the door, you notice that this restaurant is immaculately clean. It's always that way. Spotless. As you're marveling at the cleanliness of the restaurant, the staff will enthusiastically greet you. They are unbelievably friendly, upbeat, and efficient at taking your order quickly and accurately. Before you even have a chance to take a seat, your food will be ready -- prepared hot and fresh, even when it's busy (and it's always busy). The food at Chick-fil-a is very good, and their commitment to providing truly healthy options on their menu is notable. (Try their fruit bowls, grilled chicken, and salads. You won't even feel like you're sacrificing!) As you're basking in the after-glow of the delicious food you've devoured, the staff will often come by and clear your table for you, and even offer to refill your beverage. As you thank them for doing this, the staff at Chick-fil-a will always respond to your "thank you" with "my pleasure". Despite what the staff may say when you thank them, the pleasure all belongs to the customers here. This is the gold standard of quick-service casual dining.

One of the best Chick-fil-a locations I've been to! The employees and management are always extremely friendly, and I have never questioned the quality or freshness of my food (unlike experiences I've had at McDonalds and other fast food restaurants!) I love that they give my pups dog treats when we come through the drive through- it may not seem like anything special, but in the impersonal, profit-focused world we live in today, taking the time to recognize my dogs as customers too really means something!

Tonight my family & I can in for dessert... Shakes! Peach, Strawberry and Cookies & Cream! We were greater warmly ", like we always were. I was even recognized. We got our shakes to go. Once in our vehicle a member of our family spilled one shack throughout the vehicle. We went back to get napkins & wet wipes. Because I had just been there, a manager gave me a quizzing look. I explained what happened. Without giving it a thought, she asked another manager to help by getting us a small bucket of soap & hot water & 2 cloths to clean our vehicle with. Even came out & held the bucket while we cleaned. Next thing we know, the first manager brings us another shake! WOW!!! This is WAY ABOVE "the call of duty"!!!! THANK YOU so much!!! I've always been a loyal Chic-Fil-A customer & I will continue to be one!!!
